For nearly a decade, v:shal kanwar has been a fixture on the asian electronica scene, first as a live installationist and for the past many years as a DJ and tabla player. With an ever-growing list of collaborations to his credit, v:k is a resident of several DC- and NYC-based electronica events, including Kollektiv (NY & DC), Avaaz (NYC), electroganic (DC), and Sutra (DC). He is also the resident DJ for Meso Creso, a global electronica music camp which frequents music festivals with the Burning Man community. v:k has been making some epic waves on the festival scene since 2009.
